Industry feedback shapes retail readiness

Over 85% supported the interim product specification, with a majority backing the proposed plug-in amendments. Some raised concerns about older home wiring and noncompliant products sold online, while others cautioned consumers not to confuse the new rules with permissions for plug-in batteries.
