DUBAI: Dubai International Chamber said Asia accounted for 46.9% of the multinational companies it attracted to the emirate in 2025, the biggest regional share among the new entrants it helped bring to Dubai. The chamber said it attracted 64 multinational companies during the year, alongside 309 small and medium-sized enterprises. It also reported that the Middle East and CIS ranked second among multinationals, followed by Europe and the Americas.

For multinational companies, the chamber’s regional breakdown for 2025 showed the Middle East and CIS region at 20.3%, Europe at 15.6%, the Americas at 12.5%, and Africa at 4.7%. The figures were released as part of the chamber’s annual reporting on company attraction to Dubai, which tracks the origin regions of multinational businesses it supported in establishing a presence in the emirate.

Asia also led the origin regions for SMEs attracted in 2025, accounting for 49.8% of the total, the chamber said. The Middle East and CIS followed at 19.7%, with Africa at 12.6%, Europe at 10.4%, and the Americas at 7.4%. The chamber said it attracted 309 SMEs during 2025, alongside the 64 multinational companies, bringing the combined total number of companies attracted during the year to 373.

    Year-on-year growth

Dubai International Chamber said the 373 companies attracted in 2025 represented an 80.2% increase from 207 companies attracted in 2024. It said the number of multinational companies rose to 64 from 51 a year earlier, an annual increase of 25.5%. The number of SMEs attracted climbed to 309 from 156 in 2024, representing 98% growth, according to the chamber’s year-end figures.

Dubai International Chamber operates under Dubai Chambers, which also includes Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy. Dubai Chambers describes the three-chamber model as providing focused support for business growth and international partnerships, including work to attract international companies to Dubai and expand trade ties. The chamber’s company attraction data is one of several indicators it publishes on international engagement and business outreach.

    Representative offices and outreach

Dubai International Chamber said it inaugurated nine new representative offices in 2025, bringing its global network to 38 offices by year-end. The new locations included New York, Warsaw and Stockholm, alongside Karachi, Dhaka, Cape Town, Bengaluru, Bangkok and Toronto. The chamber said the additions included its first offices in the United States, Eastern Europe and the Nordic region, expanding its coverage across key markets.

The chamber reported 505 roundtables organized by its representative offices during 2025, and said it conducted 235 international roadshows across 190 cities. It also reported receiving 141 inbound trade delegations with 673 participants during the year. Dubai Chambers has stated a target under its Dubai Global initiative to establish 50 representative offices by 2030, supporting expansion into 30 priority markets. – By Content Syndication Services.
