    Global Reach of UAE Investment Platform Investopia Showcased at Fifth India Edition

    AHMEDABAD, India / RankWire.AI / — Over 500 government officials, institutional investors, and international business leaders gathered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, for the fifth installment of the Investopia Dialogues focused on India, aiming to enhance cross-border investments in high-growth sectors. The summit’s goal was to turn the expanding UAE-India economic partnership into concrete joint ventures and private-sector agreements, especially following the bilateral investment treaty between the two countries. Organizers emphasized that this platform acts as a key driver for accelerating international capital flows into strategic areas such as artificial intelligence, sustainable manufacturing, and food security.

    The event brought together prominent public and private sector stakeholders to explore opportunities in logistics, food security, advanced manufacturing, financial services, tourism, and AI. UAE Ministry of Economy Minister Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri met with Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel during the summit. Discussions focused on deepening collaboration between Emirati companies and Gujarat’s industrial hubs. Bin Touq highlighted that Ahmedabad’s selection underscores Gujarat’s role as a major industrial and economic hub.

    Abdulrahman Mohammed Alhawi, Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Investment and President of Investopia, stated that the UAE contributes over 70 percent of the total Gulf Cooperation Council investments flowing into India. He also noted that nearly 4,000 new Indian firms joined the Dubai Chamber of Commerce in the first quarter of 2026, emphasizing Ahmedabad’s Dialogues as a strategic step to help Indian companies access broader global markets via UAE financial centers.

    Driving Investment Flows into Emerging Industrial Corridors

    Significant corporate announcements underscored the event’s economic impact. LuLu Group revealed a 4,000 crore Indian rupee investment project in Ahmedabad, led by Chairman Yusuff Ali M.A. The development will span 21 acres and include a shopping mall, a five-star hotel, and serviced apartments. It is expected to generate over 15,000 jobs. Additionally, the group is launching a food park and a fish-processing facility.

    Representatives from Marjan Developers discussed increased Indian investment in real estate and hospitality. CEO Sheikh Saqr bin Omar Al Qasimi stated that Indian capital plays a crucial role in transforming Ras Al Khaimah into an international destination. Sector representatives from Silal Group, including CEO Dhafer Al Qasimi, participated in roundtables to assess modern agriculture, cold-chain logistics, and supply chain resilience.

    Fostering Private Sector Alliances and Technological Advancement

    Panel discussions at the summit examined the role of sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and private equity in funding large infrastructure projects. Delegates considered strategies to streamline regulations to promote capital flow into high-yield sectors. Discussions on technology transfer focused on expanding digital infrastructure and boosting AI implementation in manufacturing networks. These sessions aimed to enhance the competitiveness of both economies in knowledge-driven industries.

    The event wrapped up with numerous bilateral meetings to finalize institutional agreements. Organizers stated that the platform will continue to host global dialogues in key markets to align private investments with macroeconomic goals. Through a focus on trade infrastructure, industrial technology, and joint ventures, the Investopia Dialogues aim to foster predictable investment pathways that support worldwide economic growth.
